Stockport Express (page 66) (Wed March 21st 07) (Headline: Ace Turnbull Strikes) Ladybridge County U16's qualified for the Stockport Metro Cup Final with a 3-1 win against West End Juniors. Nick Turnbull scored his second cup hat-trick of the season to secure the victory. County will play Hyde Athletic in the final on April 22nd. Stockport Express (page 68) (Wed March 14th 07) Ladybridge County U16's took the points against an impressive Poynton team with a 4-3 home win. After going behind twice, man-of-the-match Liam Pritchard capped a superb performance, scoring his second goal with only minutes to go to secure the victory. This 5-2 away win against Signol Athletic saw goals from Liam Pritchard, Jake Ankers, Nick Turnbull (2), and man of the match Andy Jenkins. Stockport Express (page 66) (Wed Feb 14th 07) (Headline: County March On) Ladybridge County under-16s progressed to the Stockport Metro Cup semi-final for the second successive season thanks to a 2-1 away win over Bramhall North. Scorers were Liam Pritchard and Nick Turnbull. Stockport Express (page 74) (Wed Jan 10th 07) (Headline: County Progress) Ladybridge County under-16s travelled to High Lane on Sunday for a Stockport Metro Cup second round tie, and they progressed to the quarter - finals thanks to an impressive 5-1 victory. Danny Burke came on halfway through the second half to steal the victory with two goals. Other scorers were Warren Jones, Nick Turnbull and Andy Jenkins, while Lau Grady was man-of-the match. Stockport Express (page 67 (Wed Nov 22nd 06) Ladybridge County U17s were beaten 2-1 away at Denton. James Heritage was the scorer. County's U16s continued their progress with a 2-1 away win at Hillgate. Scorers were Andy Jenkins and Warren Jones. The U15s won 3-1 away at Bollington. On target were Nick Howard (2) and Dominic Kirby. County U13s won 7-3 away at Hollingworth. Scorers were Danny king (3), Reece Ankers (2), Arron Ogara, and man of the match Josh Palmer. Stockport Express (page 75) (Wed Nov 15th 06) Ladybridge County U16's won their sixth consecutive game, 1-0 against Apollo. John Freer netted the only goal, while Jamie O'Brien was man of the match. Stockport Express (page 75) (Wed Oct 25th 06) Ladybridge County U16's recorded their fourth consecutive victory, defeating New mills 3-1. After Mills had taken the lead, Nick Turnbull equalised with a penalty on half time. Two more goals, and a great volley from Mike Chilton and header from Nick Turnbull, sealed the victory. Stockport Express (page 67) (Wed Oct 18th 06) Ladybridge County U17s had a convincing 7-0 win against Lacy Green, while the U16s edged out Burnage Rangers 3-2. Scorers were Matt Torbitt, Mike Chilton and Nick Turnbull. Stockport Express (page 26) (Wed Oct 4th 06) (Half page team picture also printed) Ladybridge County JFC under 16's team is playing in a new kit thanks to sponsors Edmonds and Co Accountants of High Lane. John Baugh, an official for the club, said: 'The new kit is greatly appreciated.
