Ladybridge County are based in the Cheadle and Cheadle Hulme areas of Stockport and run teams within the Stockport Metro League. We currently have teams up to age under 17’s.

The Club is committed to providing competitive football for youngsters in the Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme and surrounding areas of Stockport. We value fair, competitive play and our players and supporters are asked to respect and adhere to the club rules. We keep playing fees as low as possible, and none of the officials are paid for the time they devote to running the Club and its teams.

Most expenses are incurred on renting pitches, floodlit facilities for training in winter and providing kits and equipment. One way of keeping the fees down is through sponsorship, and as always the Club welcomes any assistance that can be provided by businesses or individuals towards the Club's costs.

All age groups always welcome players to increase or improve their squads. Players of all levels of ability are welcome to join in the weekly training sessions.

Our conveyor belt of local talent currently ends at under 13's. Managers or coaches may wish to contact us with view to possibly starting a team at this age group next season.

The team a player would be eligible for is based on their age on 1st September. (e.g. A player playing for under 15's during season 2006-7 would be aged 14 on the 1st September 2006.

Reporters needed

We are desperately looking for a reporter for each age group. As a reporter you could be a parent, friend, supporter, manager or player. You don't need a qualification in English and your spelling doesn't need to be that good. We will edit and alter any mistakes. All you need to do is send information to the website to be published and you can send as little or as much as you like. Maybe just the score and scorers each week, or you could send information generally, match reports in ten or a thousand words, photographs of action, team pictures. The sky's the limit. If you don't fancy it why not encourage someone else to do it who has not visited this site. All you need to do is follow the link at the top of your teams homepage for your age group.
